The Computer Science Journal ( is published by the AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland. The Editors of the Journal are members of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering. The Editorial Board consists of many renowned researchers from all over the world.

Original papers on theoretical and applied computer science problems are published. Example areas of interest are: theoretical aspects of computer science, pattern recognition and processing, evolutionary algorithms, neural networks, multi-agent systems, computer networks management, distributed, grid and cloud computing.

16.05.2019: Dr. Marian Bubak and his Team have obtained grant in TEAMING contest

Great success!  Dr. Marian Bubak and his Team as leaders of the SANO Consortium have obtained grant in TEAMING contest as one of 13 projects funding by EU (out of 280 applications).  The grant aims at development of  the Centre of Excellence for New Methods in Computational Diagnostics and Personalised Therapy.
The Centre of Excellence objectives involve:

  • Development of new computation-based solutions for diagnostics and therapy in daily healthcare.
  • Systematic involvement of regional biomed businesses, specialising in technologies and services for personalised medicine, in high-profile research projects and clinical adoption of their outcome.
  • Development of education initiatives to train knowledge workers with the skills in data analytics, simulation, and HPC/Big Data, to respond to the growing demand for skilled workforce in medical devices and bio-engineering.
  • Strong advancement of algorithms, models and technologies involved in personalised medicine, including design of holistic, replicable, generic framework for simulation-based Decision Support Systems (DSS) creation.
